Non traditional, for sure, but it was so flavorful and moist. It made quite a bit and we’ve really loved the leftovers. I will definitely make it again. (Definitely double the paprika. The short grain rice works well and is chewy. I did not have saffron, so not sure how much that adds to the dish. It comes together easily but I would recommend having ingredients pre-measured and ready to go. I did the sacarrat and my husband and I liked the crunchy part! One of my favorite dishes to pair with a nice glass of red wine!
