This soup is nice and thick and has a great colour. It is also a really easy recipe to follow. However I, personally, didn’t like the flavour that the cannellini beans and the generous amount of butter, gave the soup. Added lots more salt, pepper and good shakes of cayenne and paprika to combat that ‘there’s something missing’ when we tasted it at the end. Glad I made this but will not be making it again.
